EA's magical FPS Immortals of Aveum could be out in just two short months, according to a dataminer with an unusually reliable track record.
Billbil-kun reports that the sorcerous single-player shooter is coming to PS5 on 20th July 2023. We only got our first taste of the title at The Game Awards late last year, so this comes as something of a surprise.
Immortals of Aveum is developer Ascendant Studios debut IP, with the team employing talent with experience working on both Dead Space and Call of Duty. We've only had a teaser to go on so far, but a big-budget single-player shooter is something of rare delicacy these days, so consider our interest to be tentatively piqued.

I've never heard of this game, but you piqued my interest at single player 🤔
Well, sounds like an (post)E3 season shadow drop or something. EA is sort of strange with how they’re advertising titles these days. Wild Hearts was a unique title for them too and it released with little advertising or fanfare. It just sort of released and effectively I know few people that have even heard of it. Strange strategy.
@PegasusActual93 How? There's been no gameplay revealed, at least that I can find. How do you know it's anything like Hexen or Ziggurat besides being an FPS with magic?
I had completely forgotten about this game until I read this.
The official YouTube channel shows a reveal trailer scheduled for April 13th too.
